AVC: It's That Time Of The Month.

With the ending of another month it is time for me to give a general update.

I have 2 weeks to go until my first semester is over. The last assignment I gave my students is to assess me as a teacher, so far the responses I have is that I should play more basketball then I will be the perfect teacher. Well with that I say no one needs to be perfect, so I may step down from that, since I am not entirely gifted when it comes to throwing balls into baskets.

Also with the end of this month it is time for me to update the photos, I was given a request to take some pictures with students. So I have done that and they are now in the Pictures folder for you to take a gander at your leisure.

Some of them are just with one student, others with a couple and some I am drowning in a large mass of student like proportions. In one I drew a red circle around my face, otherwise it might be difficult to spot me. Hope you enjoy them.

I am started to notice lately here, that my name has changed from 'Lao Wei', which means foreigner. The name people have started calling me is 'Hei Dao', which is the Chinese equivelent of Pirate. Whether this is good or bad does not matter, the fact that it is cool is all I am concerned with. Apparently I am the most piratey looking person to enter this town. He He. Wait till I pillage the area and make a getaway to my secretly stored fleet of ships. (I keep them in my school locker. Shhh!)

The big announcement for now, as I have told some is that the possiblilty of my return in December may not be happening now. As I was misinformed about the time that semster would end later this year. I had though it would end in December, but now have been told it will be early January. I am going to try and compromise with the schools over this, because if I leave for Australia mid-January and come back at the beginning of February, then that is only 2 weeks or so and that is not enough time for me to chow down on delicious food.....see you guys. We'll see what happens. In the meantime enjoy the photos and enjoy yourself in Australia or wherever you are right now.

**Update**

I have spoken with some officials about my return. Apparently it will be no problem for me to return for 2 months at the beginning of next year. I am trying to organise that I return a few days before new years, then I would leave in the middle-late February. Seeing as it is still 5 months away I am not going to get my hopes up on that one, things change quite frequently. But, at this precise moment, as I am writing, that is the future. But, we will know sooner or later. If it desn't happen the worst that will happen is that I won't return until July next year. Not too bad.
